The snowdrops are everywhere – they have spread and we have helped them along! Yesterday Petra was at the Gardens and set up this lovely photo of snowdrops on one of the old brackets in the kitchen wall. Her photocards will be on sale at the Gardens on the Snowdrop Open Days on 13, 17, 20 and 24 February, as well as snowdrops in the green and other plants.
So the volunteers this week were working hard to get the Gardens ready for opening the gates. Key maintenance has been completed on Daisy’s and the loo platform. New rose obelisks have been installed and lots of tidying undertaken. Plus we found time to plant onions and garlic.
