For the sharp eyed, you will see that we all loved the raspberry ices this week. There are now more raspberries on the canes than there were at the height of the “normal” season for this variety – August/September.
It was a glorious sunny day for us this week – and the sharp frost and ice on the lilypond made the Gardens spectacular! And despite the hard earth we got many jobs done: planting shrubs, cutting down perennials and dahlias which have now had their last flowers for this year and more leaf and moss clearance, both on the ground and on top of Berties!
