Fancy a private tour of the Gardens?
We are delighted to be able to offer groups of 10 or more visitors the opportunity to come to the Gardens on weekdays throughout the year for a private tour. These tours have been hugely popular and successful – as you can see from this picture of visitors from Germany who came especially to see the snowdrops. A few of the group are seen here enjoying a guided tour with our chairman, Angus. They really enjoyed their visit and commented that “the cakes were delicious”. Although Thursday is our preferred day for these visits, we can accommodate other days on request.
So if you are a member of any group – such as a WI, gardening club, U3A, disabled club etc – or if you just want to get a few friends together, you would be more than welcome at the Gardens. To check availability or to find out more information, either call 01279 718979 or email email@example.com.
Group visits will last approximately two hours and the cost of £6 per person will cover:
- Your entrance fee
- A fascinating tour led by one our experienced tour guides, who will educate and enthral you with stories about the history of the Gardens and the past inhabitants of Warwick House
- Morning or afternoon tea/coffee and delicious homemade cakes
- Access to historical archives
Just a reminder that groups need to be of 10 or more people or a minimum charge of £60 will apply. Please note the grounds of Warwick House are not included in the tour.
We look forward to welcoming you.
