An opportunity to explore the World War history of the Gardens and estate and understand the lives of the men and women who were based on the site.
There will be displays of our local history, war era vehicles and artefacts and we will be joined by Nuthampstead Airfield Museum group, the 8th Airforce, Heritage RAF Association and Great Dunmow Royal British Legion; as well as the Austin 7 Club.
Locally sourced bacon and cheese rolls will be available until 2.15pm.
Homemade cakes, hot and cold drinks will be available until 4.30pm or until they run out!
Music: Perfect Vintage duo will entertain with their take on war era songs.
