Join us to see the wildflowers and learn about the wildlife in the Gardens, with a Bug Hunt, nature activities and trail for all the family. We will be joined by the Thaxted Morris Men to celebrate the joys of spring in their special way, at 12.30pm!
The gardens open from 11.30am until 5pm with the last entry at 4pm.
Events: Bug Hunts, bird walks, viewing of moths and dragonflies lead by Jono Forgham and members of Bishop’s Stortford Natural History Society. We will also be joined by our Beekeepers, Essex Bat Group, Uttlesford Badger Group, RSPB and Essex Wildlife Trust
Stalls: Plants, crafts
Other children’s activities: trail and crafts
Locally sourced bacon and cheese rolls will be available until 2.15pm. Homemade cakes, hot and cold drinks will be available until 4.30pm or until they run out!
Adults entry £4.50
Children under 16 FREE
Dogs on leads welcome.
Guided tours will be available on the day.
