Open Day including a celebration of Harold Peto’s work and Japanese garden design in the Gardens, which we are restoring or drawing inspiration from in our management of the Gardens.
The gardens open from 11.30 until 5pm with the last entry at 4pm.
Children’s activities, including craft and fun trail.
Locally sourced bacon and cheese rolls will be available until 2.15.
Homemade cakes, hot and cold drinks will be available until 4.30 pm or they run out!
Events:
Robin Whalley, who is an authority on the work of Harold Peto and is Conservation & Historic Advisor to the Gardens, will be on hand to explain Peto’s work. Peto’s travel diaries, with introductions by Robin, provide fascinating insights into his work and are published by Cwareli press
