Our last Sunday open day of the season and hopefully an opportunity to enjoy the pumpkins and dahlias and a relaxed stroll around the Gardens. Our archivists will be putting together a display about Japanese gardening, so visitors can appreciate that element of the Gardens’ heritage. And hopefully the acers, a key feature in Japanese gardens, will be starting to take on their autumnal hues.
Tickets are available here . Visitors can also pay for entry at the Gate. Priority parking for disabled visitors.
Locally sourced bacon, cheese or hummus rolls; homemade cakes; and hot and cold drinks will be available until they run out – or till 4.30pm.
Garden produce and merchandise (jam and jelly tombola and pumpkins and squashes galore!), honey and plants will be available for sale.
Music: local folk duo, Karen and Tony.
