We will learn about the nature in the Gardens, with local naturalist Jono Forgham on hand to show us his Moths of the Day and to help us do bug hunts. Visitors will enjoy the bluebells and the last of the fruit blossom in the walled kitchen garden. Advance tickets can be purchased through this link.
There will be a range of stalls, including a plant stall, a local wood turner, crafts and jams and honey; and we will be joined by Uttlesford Badger Group and Essex Wildlife Trust. Bishops Stortford Camera Club will be exhibiting some of their lovely wildlife photos.
Music will be provided by popular local duo Karen and Tony.
Our volunteers will provide locally sourced bacon, cheese or hummus rolls; homemade cakes; and hot and cold drinks until they run out – or till 4.00pm.
