A time to enjoy the Gardens in lovely summer colours and to remember the role of the estate and local people in World War I and II.
Our archive records will be on display and there will be a range of exhibitors, including local museums and historical groups.
Perfect Vintage, song duo, will keep visitors entertained with their performances of 1940s songs.
And there will be a range of stalls, including a plant stall, a local wood turner, crafts and jams; and we will be joined by the Woodland Trust and Essex Wildlife Trust.
Our volunteers will provide locally sourced bacon, cheese or hummus rolls; homemade cakes; and hot and cold drinks until they run out – or till 4.00pm.
Gates open at 11.00. Tickets will be available in advance, through Trybooking, and are also available on the Gate from 12.00.
