Come and visit us for our last open day of the year, with squashes and pumpkins galore and the dahlia border still a vibrant feast for the eyes. Entry will be by pre-booked ticket, available through Eventbrite. Entry without pre-booked tickets is possible after 2.00pm, subject to available parking space. This restriction does not apply to Season Ticket holders, Friends and people arriving on foot or by bicycle, who are welcome to arrive at any time after 11.00.
There will be a children’s trail. We will be joined by our beekeepers and wood turner, a local willow weaver, local conservation coppicers, Essex Wildlife Trust and the Woodland Trust. There will be a plant stall and we will have our Garden produce on sale and a tombola of garden jams, jellies and chutneys.
The gardens open from 11.00am until 5pm with the last entry at 4pm. The car park gates are locked at 5.30pm.
Locally sourced bacon and cheese rolls will be available until 2.15pm.
Homemade cakes, hot and cold drinks will be available until 4.30pm or until they run out!
We have arrangements in place for ensuring social distancing as set out on our
visitor information page.
