The first full season Open Day and the first Tudor Day to be held at the Gardens. Elizabeth I gave the estate to Henry Maynard and visitors will meet Lord Burghley and his entourage, as they visit to inspect the building of Easton Lodge in 1594. There will be a range of Tudor activities for visitors, provided by the Companye of Merrie Folke and others, including archery & armour, net making and weaving, tudor games, quill writing and pottage making.

Visitors will also find daffodils, tulips and a variety of other wild and cultivated flowers bringing colour across the Gardens.

There will be a range of craft stalls and a plant stall.

Gates Open 11.00 am. Tickets are available in advance, here or through Trybooking.com. Tickets will also be available on the Gate. What3words for the entrance to the car park is stocky.bulletins.opponent

Our volunteers will provide locally sourced bacon, cheese or hummus rolls; homemade cakes; and hot and cold drinks  until they run out – or till 4.00pm.
