Our volunteers provide hot and cold drinks and home-made cakes for visitors to the Gardens. On Open Days they also provide locally sourced bacon rolls and cheese rolls and soup in the cooler months until 2.15 or they run out (no soup in June, July, August & September).
The Archive presents the Trust’s extensive collection of photos and documents relating to the Gardens, the Countess of Warwick, Great Dunmow airfield and the wartime use of the Gardens and local memorials.
The Archive also houses a range of items for sale, including photo cards by a local photographer, snowdrop mugs and vases and dibbers and other turned items. Garden visit vouchers can be purchased as a lovely gift for a friend: Tea for Two includes garden entry and tour, plus tea/coffee and cake for two visitors.
On Open Days seasonal garden produce is available for sale, including snowdrops in the green in February and fruit and vegetables in the summer and autumn.
