We apologise for having to cancel this Open Day. Unfortunately further rain has left the Gardens and car park in a sorry state and the snowdrops are now going over. Advance tickets will be refunded. On the plus side the daffodils are coming out early! We hope to see you back at the Gardens soon. We will take a decision whether we can open for 29 February when we can see if the Gardens are drying out.

Snowdrops flourish under the trees under the trees at the front of the Gardens, in the walled kitchen garden and the Glade. Many of the common single and double blooms were planted in Victorian times or before. They are a favourite for visitors!

Snowdrops are weather dependent and this year opened early and have been hit by the heavy rains we have had. Should they not be at their best, we hope visitors will enjoy seeing the early daffodils and other seasonal flowers.
