Our last Sunday Open Day of the season is a chance to get ready for Halloween, with lots of fun for families. There will be a special welcome for children in Halloween costumes, with a parade and prizes at 2.30pm. Also a spooky trail, fun games for families, and guess the weight of the pumpkin. There will be toe-tapping, sing-along live music from BSUS, the Bishop’s Stortford community ukelele group.

There will be the Gardens’ produce stall, jam and jelly tombola, honey and other local produce and craft stalls.

Our archivist will present a special display focusing on the trees in the Gardens and the Archive Building will also be open for visitors to browse, with its fine collection of historical photographs and stories from Easton Lodge and its people.

Bacon/cheese/hummus rolls, homemade cakes and hot and cold drinks.

Adult entry £6.00 if bought in advance here or £7.00 on the gate. Children under 16 FREE. Dogs on leads welcome.

Advance tickets will be refunded if the Trust has to decide the Gardens cannot open, due to a significant risk to visitors and volunteers, for example from adverse weather or very poor ground conditions.
