Location

There was an airfield in the Easton Lodge estate during WW2 and it was a training ground for WW1. Information from the Trust’s archives will tell the stories of the men and women involved, with particular reference to VE Day the Anniversary of which we remembered this year. Visitors will also learn from a range of other local museum and community group displays, including the Rifles Living History Society, 8th Association and the Dunkirk museum. Live songs from the Lancashire Belle will evoke the era and get us singing along. There will be Austin 7s and Military Vehicles on display.

Visitors will find something of interest for all. Children will also enjoy a Garden trail and crafts.

The Gardens will also be at their best in July, with lots of colour and vegetables growing apace in the walled kitchen garden; and garden produce on sale.

Hot bacon/cheese/hummus rolls, homemade cakes and hot and cold drinks.

Adult entry £6.00 if bought in advance here or £7.00 on the gate.
Children under 16 FREE. Dogs on leads welcome.

Advance tickets will be refunded if the Trust has to decide the Gardens cannot open, due to a significant risk to visitors and volunteers, for example from adverse weather or very poor ground conditions.
