A lazy summer’s day in the Gardens, with fun games for all the family; and information from the Trust’s archives about Peto’s transformation of the gardens in 1902 and on his work elsewhere.

The Gardens are open 11am to 5pm, last entry 4pm. Adult entry £6.00 if bought in advance here or £7.50 on the gate. Children under 16 FREE. Dogs on leads and picnicking welcome.

Visitors will enjoy croquet, a host of fun fete games and garden games too for all ages; Fairy Doors; as well as crafts for the children.

The Gardens are particularly tranquil in August with plenty of shade; Peto’s Italian Garden is bright with colour; and the dahlia border in the walled kitchen garden is coming into flower. The Trust’s history and information building is open for visitors to browse, with its fine collection of historical photographs and stories from Easton Lodge and its people.

Craft stalls and produce from the Gardens on sale, including plums and the first apples.

Other refreshments from Daisy’s: Cheese/hummus rolls, homemade cakes and hot and cold drinks. And bacon/sausage rolls from the Giggly Pig.

Advance tickets will be refunded if the Trust has to decide the Gardens cannot open, due to a significant risk to visitors and volunteers, for example from adverse weather or very poor ground conditions.
