A lazy summer’s day in the Gardens, with fun for all the family and the chance to meet the Little Easton Alpacas.
Visitors will find something of interest for all, with croquet and a host of fun fete games and garden games too for all ages; Fairy Doors; a family quiz and crafts specifically for the children; the Little Easton Alpacas; and music from Woodwind of Stortford. There will be a range of craft stalls and produce from the Gardens on sale.
The Gardens are particularly tranquil in August with plenty of shade, Peto’s Italian Garden bright with colour and the dahlia border in the walled kitchen garden in full flower.
Hot bacon/cheese/hummus rolls, homemade cakes and hot and cold drinks.
Adult entry £6.00 if bought in advance here or £7.00 on the gate. Children under 16 FREE. Dogs on leads and picnicking welcome.
Advance tickets will be refunded if the Trust has to decide the Gardens cannot open, due to a significant risk to visitors and volunteers, for example from adverse weather or very poor ground conditions.
