The wildflower spiral is having a late season flourish in time for our last Sunday Open Day, on 19 October. The iconic scarlet oak, crab apples and other trees are spectacular and the dahlias and lavender are still looking lovely and providing good foraging for the bumble bees. Our volunteers started putting up Halloween decorations so the Gardens will be looking spooky for visitors – and there will be prizes for the best Halloween costumes. See you there.
