And now to the daffodils

The snowdrops are still looking lovely, but we also now have the first daffodils – the Tete-a-tete that we planted along the top of the Italian garden and the first of the old naturalised daffodils in Lime Wood. The RHS are running some citizen science on daffodils this year – I don’t think we have two of the three old varieties they are trying to track down, but we will double check as ours open through March.

Spring is in the air when the sun shines, but it was very cold still, yesterday, before it came out. Despite this, St Mary’s students enjoyed their full day of activities at the Gardens.
