We wrapped up warm and got a lot done this week – buoyed by being in lovely late autumn sunshine, with some vivid leaves left on the trees and lots more on the ground.
We did more tidying of the beds and borders, some planting (bulbs, roses, shrubs) and some mulching. We were joined by a team from Essex County Council, who cut back the epicormic growth on the trees in the Lime Wood so they will be tidy when the daffodils come through in the spring.
