Tidying the Gardens ready for Apple and Bees day this Sunday, 15 September, meant lots of hard work, cutting back more nettles, weeding around new trees, weeding the beds and deadheading, weeding the paths and removing fallen apples from them. The Gardens are looking really lovely for the Open Day, in particular with the Dahlia border at last coming good. And there will be lots of jams and jellies on the tombola, apples for juicing and produce for sale. Music. Games on the lawn. Fun for all!
