On a really hot day our heroic volunteers transformed the paths in the walled kitchen garden, weeding them and then switching to weeding the borders too. Others cut the box & yew hedges, flailed the banks in the Glade, deadheaded the gorgeous roses, dahlias and the perennials in the Italian garden, watered the veg & planted out more and tidied Warwick Corner and the front of the garden, So much work and with immediate, visible impact!
