What a joy it is to see the changing colours of the new wildflower spiral. It has been a busy week in the walled kitchen garden – picking gooseberries, redcurrants and blackcurrants for jamming and beans, peas and courgettes to sell to visitors; watering the veg; and of course the regular cutting of grass and weeding.
