Renewing a lavender hedge is a big commitment – this one could take us some time, taking and raising the cuttings before using them to replace the old, rather outsize and somewhat straggly hedge. It is like painting the Forth bridge, but a good start has been made!
The tree surgeons were in the Gardens this week – cutting down dead trees. So next week we will have lots of mulching to do, with the chipped wood!
