Many visitors enjoyed the first ever Snowdrop Thursday this week. They sensibly came prepared for all weathers and there was a very chill wind blowing across the overflow carparking on the airfield road. But the Gardens have some shelter and later in the day the wind dropped and in the sunshine it was glorious. Visitors and volunteers alike relaxed and enjoyed the snowdrops, the snowdrop trail and the cake!

Unfortunately storm Eunice has since then ripped branches from the trees and we have lost one pine at the bottom of the Glade. We have had to cancel the Sunday 20 February Open Day but aim to be open for the final snowdrop day on Thursday 24 February.
