This week it was all hands on deck to get the Gardens ready for the first visitors of the season. More grass cutting; edge trimming; weeding; sweeping of the treehouse and paths; transplanting of primroses; and filling of the flower vases. Carolyn spring-cleaned Daisy’s from top to toe, so she is ready to serve our usual bacon butties and homemade cake. But we also made time for getting more seeds into the ground and watered, to add to the onions and the first carrot sowings that are now up and growing. So, the Gardens will look great through the season and hopefully we will have lots of produce too.
