Dunmow-Dourdan Town Twinning Association stalwarts enjoyed a socially distanced picnic at the Gardens this week in perfect weather. Hopefully in 2021 they will once again be able to entertain their guests from the mediaeval capital of Hurepoix in the Ile-de-France region.

And our gardening volunteers have also enjoyed, possibly the last, warm-ish September sunshine, cutting the grass; weeding the borders, herb beds and around the cyclamen nestled under the walnut tree creeping towards the walled garden gate; and clearing the end of the sweetcorn plants.
