In the dappled shade on a glorious September day, Thelma finished beautifying the jams and jellies today, ready for the Apple Day on Sunday. You might call her Appley Dapply!
Cressing Temple Barns’ gardening volunteers visited for the day, bringing with them apples and apple juicing kit for Sunday. It was lovely to share volunteering experiences with them. Our two gardens are so different, but we share the joy of working together to enable visitors to relax in beautiful surrounds, learning about their fascinating history and seeing and eating their fresh fruit and vegetables!
