Is Steph channelling the Japanese gardeners that Monty Don met, who were removing grass from moss gardens blade by blade? The monks and the rest of the Gardens are looking fit for visitors on Sunday for our first ever celebration  of our Japanese Garden heritage.

The rains have done wonders for our vegetables, so there will be rich pickings. The star of the stall be probably be the sweetcorn, but there will also be squash, beetroot, carrots, beans, cucumbers, potatoes, chard etc etc!

Sue did the rounds today to decide what we might enter into the flower and veg competition at the Countess of Warwick show on bank holiday weekend …. We haven’t entered before, so fingers will be crossed that our volunteers’ efforts will be recognised with some best in show rosettes!
