The Italian garden has gone green – the euphorbia and solomon seal have grown huge now it has rained! Set against the green are splashes of colour from helianthemum, irises, alliums, roses and osteospermum; and the lupins are coming. Sue got her waders on and confirmed too that the waterlilies are pushing out of their new homes and should put on a good show.
Steve has been planting up vegetables and on the other side of the walled garden the dahlias are breaking through.
It is such a lovely time of year and it has been a pleasure for us to share the joy with so many group visitors, from Manningtree, Balsham, Southend and the Rodings; and the Dunmow U3A croquet group. Contact us if you would like to arrange a visit for your group!
