The agility ring is in place for visiting dogs for this Sunday’s Fun day for Dogs; the weather is all set fair so there are no muddy paths; the Rock Choir are no doubt as well-rehearsed as ever; and Carolyn is ready with the bacon, cakes and other catering!

Our gardening volunteers have been working hard to ensure the Gardens are also at their best for visitors. The Italian garden is vibrant, with strong splashes of colour against the greens, in particular from the lupins and agapanthus, and subtler shades from the iris and rock roses. The walled kitchen garden is looking trim, with the soft fruit bulking up, the herbs coming into flower and the flower borders showing promise. And in the Glade the Handkerchief tree is still looking stunning, framed by the wild flower banks.
