Snowdrops are such a welcome sight

Our main snowdrop area is at the front of the gardens, but they are also looking stunning in the walled garden and in many other areas, such as here under the trees at the top of the glade.

Cleaning/touching up the painting on Daisy’s and the Archive building and carpentry for re-siting the loos was cold work in the shade and wind, but it was gloriously warm in the walled kitchen garden. There, more fruit bushes were planted and a robin kept us company while tidying the flower and herb border. Can we really be ready to start planting on the first day of February?!
