We’ve already used produce from the walled garden in cakes for Open Days – rhubarb crumble cake and blackcurrant drizzle cake. And now we’ve had enough blackcurrants for our first jam. The raspberries will be next up, as the rabbits and mice have not left us any strawberries!

 

After the various downpours, we’ve been very busy tackling the weeds and cutting the grass. We’re not complaining as the Gardens have absolutely needed all that rain.”
