"Spot the strimmer in an orange hard hat....

After the spring wild flowers, Rod has been tidying up the long grass. The trimmed mound now pushes your eyes up to the Indian horse chestnut trees, towering majestically over the glade.

In the walled kitchen garden the erysimum, sweet william and poppies light up the border, and we are looking forward to our next delivery of path edging tiles. We have made our first soft fruit picking - black and red currants for cakes at the next open day, on 25th June."
