"The snowdrops are right on time!

They should make a really good snowdrop showing this year, on 19 & 26 February with the usual white carpet at the front of the gardens, and lots in the glade and the cleared walled garden. So this week we busied ourselves preparing the garden, Daisy's and the Archive building for our first visitors - weeding a little, tidying & cleaning. Next week we will pot up snowdrops.

It was a dull and at times drizzly day - but we were compensated by seeing the spring feeding the rill, so that now its pond is full. With the rill running after rain, we will now have something to offer visitors in poor garden weather! "
