Daisy would have loved her birthday celebration as much as the many visitors to the gardens on Sunday.

Volunteers looked wonderful in their period costumes and the cutting of the beautiful cake made by Brenda Andersen was just one of the highlights of a glorious day.

Children played hopscotch and ping pong on the lawns whilst parents watched over them with a cup of something warm and a slice of our delicious home made cake.

The sun shone - most of the time - and a good time was had by all.
