OPEN SUNDAYS IN SPRING, SUMMER AND AUTUMN 2010
We are delighted to share with you the dates on which the Gardens will open to the public during the coming year. They offer many opportunities to enjoy the highlights of this idyllic 23-acre haven through its seasonal changes, from the drifts of spring-flowering narcissi, blue hazes of forget-me-not, muscari and hyacinths, the intoxicating fragrance and vista of the Rose Walk, the heady lavender hedge almost hiding the sunken Italian Garden and, with our superb variety of both native and nonnative trees, culminating in a majestic tapestry of Autumn foliage.

Open Times: 12noon to 6pm on each occasion with last entry at 5pm (subject to weather conditions and nightfall!).
Disabled Access: the Gardens are mainly laid to lawn so, under dry weather conditions, they are reasonably accessible. However, if the weather has been very wet then the lawns tend to become more difficult to negotiate. Your carer enters free of charge.
Entry: just £2.50 per adult, with children free.
Friends’ Membership: for a minimum donation of just £15, you and one guest will be entitled to enter the Gardens free of charge on all public open days in 2010. Please complete a form when you next visit and you will get back your entrance fee for that day. Or click here for our contact details - thank you.
Children: we offer some simple but fun wildlife activities to our younger visitors, such as Scavenger Hunts, Leaf Identification and Bark Rubbings. These activities are designed to encourage exploration in the Gardens and are free of charge (though donations are always welcome). All participating children will receive a badge and a sticker on the return of the equipment! Children must be accompanied at all times as the Gardens contain several water features.
Dogs: are welcome but please keep them on lead and come prepared to clean up!
Refreshments: our volunteer team serves a range of home made cakes and savouries, tea, coffee and squash during opening hours from the Courtyard behind Warwick House.
Plants for Sale: we are delighted to advise that Brian & Nora Royden-Hall will be at the Gardens on each open day, selling their high-quality plants to our visitors. They are also donating a large percentage of the revenue from these plant sales to the Trust!
SatNav: our postcode is CM6 2BB
PARKING: In order to allow access to residents and emergency vehicles, please note that car parking is not permitted along Park Road (the approach road to the Gardens). We have made new parking arrangements so please follow the instructions of the parking stewards - thank you for your co-operation.
