Ready for the first Open Day since lockdown

We spent the day getting ready for the Open Day, putting up posters and tape for ensuring safe one-way systems into and out of the Gardens, to Daisy’s and Bertie’s (getting bacon rolls, cake and coffee is important!!!) and to the loos. So we are all set now! Of course once visitors are into the Gardens there need be no restrictions, other than all practicing the social distancing that we all now are familiar with!

And visitors will find that the Gardens are looking really lovely. Our volunteers have been working very hard, so the Italian Garden and walled kitchen garden are colourful and tidy and we have also been able to get onto tidying jobs in less obvious places too! There will be lots of produce on sale and plants too.

The open day is ticketed. Entry for visitors arriving without pre-booked tickets, is subject to space being available in the car park as there is no overflow parking available. There are no limits on visitors arriving on foot or by bicycle!
